John qualified in 2005 from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’s Hospital. He is able to provide all aspects of clinical dentistry to the highest standards with a strong focus on total patient care and the wellbeing of the patient. He has a specialist interest in cosmetic and minimally invasive dentistry. This encompasses all aspects of cosmetic dentistry from smile make overs, veneers, crowns, bridges to large complex cases. He is also able to provide cosmetic orthodontics using a variety of systems. In addition, he is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England), European Society of Cosmetic Orthodontics, has a biology degree, a further MJDF dental qualification and has completed further study in Implant Dentistry in Cambridge. In his spare time he likes to play golf, kitesurf and attend the gym.
Kat qualified with multiple distinctions from Guys, Kings and St.Thomas’ Dental School in 2003. She was awarded Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) by the Royal College of Surgeons in 2007. Prior to joining Forestmead, Kat worked in general dentistry in Balham, London, for 15 years. Alongside her work in general practice, Kat also taught Paediatric Dentistry for a number of years at King’s College London. Kat is married with three children including twins. In her spare time, she enjoys running, cycling and visiting the gym.
Ankur qualified in 2015 at Semmelweis University, Budapest.
Sonal qualified as a dentist in India in 2005 before relocating to London, where she successfully completed her statutory examinations. After several years of clinical practice in London, she moved to Horsham in 2012 and spent over a decade working in the town centre. She is now delighted to be part of our team.
She gained Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (MJDF) in 2009 and completed a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in 2015 at the renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London.
She joined our practice in April 2023 and has quickly become popular with patients. Her kind, gentle approach helps put people at ease while she delivers high-quality, professional care. We look forward to working with her for many years to come.
Outside of dentistry, Sonal enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young daughters, cooking for her family, and travelling together.
Aedan qualified from Leeds Dental School in 2018. Prior to joining Forestmead, Aedan worked in general dentistry in Cambridgeshire for 5 years before moving to Surrey. Aedan has a keen interest in all areas of general dentistry and enjoys using digital dentistry with a focus on aesthetic results. In his spare time he enjoys running, football and visiting the gym.
Ed qualified from Leeds University in 1998, joining Forestmead in 2002 as a general Dentist. In 2012 he successfully completed a 4 year Masters in Endodontics (root treatments) at Kings University. He now specialises in this field, carrying out internal referrals from our other dentists. Ed provides the highest quality specialist care with exceptional results.
Tomas qualified in Madrid in 2007, joining Forestmead as our oral surgeon in 2016. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in implant-prosthesis (2009) and Oral Medicine (2010) at Complutense University of Madrid before moving to the UK. He completed his MFDS exams in Edinburgh (2014), and successfully finished his Diploma in dental implantology in Toulouse, France (2016). Tomas has trained in different hospitals across the South of England, and currently works in a several dental practices as well as here at Forestmead.
Paula has been with Forestmead for many years and has a reputation for being a very kind and caring Hygienist. Paula works Monday to Thursday.
Lisa joined us in 2018 and covers Monday and Tuesdays. Lisa is a very proactive member of our Hygienist team, very keen to inspire patients to have great oral health habits.
Lisa qualified from Dundee University in 1993 and has been with Forestmead for over 20 years. Lisa now owns the practice and will ensure the excellent patient care that Forestmead is known for continues. When not at the practice, Lisa spends her spare time rock climbing and has competed in yacht racing events for many years.
Lynne is our CQC Registered Manager covering all aspects of our practice management and compliance, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice. Lynne looks after our large team, supporting them to ensure they provide the best possible patient care, she is also a qualified dental nurse and often works alongside our dentists during appointments when needed.
The reception team are here to support our patients and team. Often a fast paced role with lots of aspects to juggle, they are a multitalented team! When calling the practice they can assist with booking appointments and queries, when you visit they are here to greet you and help with any planning needed around your dental care. As with all of the Forestmead team our receptionists complete annual confidentiality, medical emergency and other essential training to ensure they are working under current guidelines.
We have a great team of nurses supporting our patients and dentists at Forestmead. All our nurses are on the GDC register, meaning they are qualified and complete annual CPD (continuing professional development) to keep up to date with the latest knowledge and training for all aspects of their role. They provide a high standard of care in surgery, helping patients, assisting the dentists, preparing for treatments, sterilising and infection control and many other tasks ensuring a smooth patient experience.
